![]() ![]() If you’re a teacher or daycare provider, you can then have the children put the pieces into plastic baggies and swap them with their neighbors. Then they’ll cut out the pieces, following the lines they drew. The older the kids, the smaller the pieces can be. Then, depending on their ages, either you or they will take a black Sharpie and draw roughly puzzle-shaped designs directly onto the illustrations. You might want to reinforce the sheet with posterboard pasted to the back. Have the kids pick out the illustration they want to turn into a puzzle and color it in. Puzzles are quick and easy, and they’re a great activity if you’re leading a classroom of young students. Then they can cut out the figures (or groups of figures) and place them on the walls, hanging from the ceiling, by the food, on the tables, etc. Starting a few weeks beforehand, have your child color in various illustrations, making sure to get all the characters – yes, even the evil stepmother! In keeping with the party theme, why not encourage your child to have a Cinderella-themed birthday party – and have them pitch in on the decorations?
